Another $1,000 was delivered to Family & Children’s Agency (FCA) of Norwalk. Note from FCA:
The SLOBS of Westport did an amazing job with their fundraising event. Presenting us with a check in the amount of $1,000 is really incredible. FCA will use the money in the area (program) that needs it the most. We truly appreciate the effort put into this event and the support to our agency.
Our mission is building better lives and strengthening our community by providing essential human services to children, families, adults and seniors. Your donation today is going to help build a better life for someone.
We look forward to a continued relationship with the SLOBS of Westport.

“Thank you to all of you for making our LobsterFest an extremely successful event! We couldn’t have asked for more, the weather was terrific, the guests moved smoothly through the lines, the food was great, the music festive, the beverages flowed smoothly, volunteers worked hard, thank you, thank you, thank you.” — a note from our LobsterFest chair, Sandra Urist
A very special thank you to SLOBS for volunteering at LobsterFest. You sent an incredible crew of SLOBS that were a tremendous help during the event and breaking down the event space. Thank you from the Westport Rotary Club.
Laughter, lobster, and a large crowd for the fifth year in a row! Westport Rotary LobsterFest 2016 was another huge success. We had over 200 smiling and hard-working volunteers and a large happy crowd of diners.
LobsterFest would not be possible without our volunteers. With your hard work we are the perfect combination-a fun and highly organized event. This is a wonderful way for you to support your community by helping Westport Rotary Club raise funds to support our local and international charities.
We hope you will volunteer again next year. Our LobsterFest signs mark the beginning of the fall season with this highly anticipated community event! Thank you so much for all of your help this year.
