| Thank You! Even though it has not been a typical year for SLOB’s, with your help, we have been able to assist those in need over the past few months. Your Executive Board packed 550 school supply bags for kids at the Curiale School in Bridgeport, provided holiday gifts for 3 Mercy Learning Center families, and supplied holiday meals for the Gillespie Center. With your help, we collected $2340 in gift cards to help the Westport Department of Human Services make the holiday season a bit brighter for many Westport families, collected 2 carloads of clothes for the families living at Open Door Shelter, delivered 94 warm coats to Person to Person, and delivered 70 bags of toiletries and food to the Mercy Learning Center. Though we haven’t been able to host all of our regular service events, with your support, we have still been able to help many families in need! Have a great winter break! |
